Below is my appearance on “Video Power”, the first tv show dedicated to video games.  I just designed the game “Super Glove Ball”.  I did NOT design the Power Glove itself.  Yeah I thought the Glove was a bad idea at the time too, but I was a designer at Mattel and if they wanted to do video games I wanted to be the one who did them.  The mainstream press loved it (the game was on the cover of Popular Science magazine as one of the year’s most innovative products), BUT THE VIDEO GAME PRESS ABSOLUTELY HATED IT.  For me it was just fun to do, but the Glove still offends a lot of people even to this very day.  Click on the title below and just read some of the comments!  The Glove made people very angry!!
